BULLZIRE’21
Asia's largest stock market festival, Bullzire’21 was conducted virtually on 17th and 18th April,2021 by D-Street, Shri Ram College of Commerce, the one and only student-run stock market society in the whole country. Bullzire'21 made students travel on an incredible journey through the financial labyrinth of mind boggling contests and illuminating speaker sessions.
Mr.Shashank Udupa, Mr.Abhinav Arora, Mr.Varun Mayya, co-founders of Avalon Meta shared their insights on "Evolution of fintech post covid-19". A panel discussion with esteemed panelists from different verticals of the industry on the agenda “The role of financial markets in reviving the Indian economy post covid-19” was successfully presented on the second day of the fest. The panel discussion had the best financial markets professionals such as Mr.Ashish Chauhan, Mrs.Koel Ghosh, Mr.Arvind Mathur, Mr.Varun Chauhan, Mr.Prabhakar Tiwari as the panelists and Mrs.Sakshi Batra as the moderator.
A number of intense and coherent events were organised. The events included Shri ram valuation case challenge - The first valuation case of University of Delhi, Shri Ram investment competition - the first ever stock pitch competition organised in partnership with William O' Neil, Shri ram mock stock - market stimulation based event, D-Crypto, event based on cryptocurrency, AnalytIQ - core research based event, Deriwitz which was a derivative bond based stimulation, and Battle of wits - A race through clues.
Prizes worth INR 7,50,000+ were awarded to the winners. There was a reach of around 50,000+ and there were more than 9000+ registrations. It attracted participants from various tier one institutes across India such as IIMs, IITs, FMS and IIFT.
