Tanya Agarwal-girl with a normal life and plenty of dreams
Being harassed in her childhood days, Tanya Agarwal commenced an initiative where she used to educate children about "Good Touch and Bad Touch" she got this opportunity in her college days through NSS and an Organization. She used to go to government schools to give students personal sessions about sex education. Continuously, for three years with the help of NSS, she minutely addressed and observed the problems these kids use to face. She not only then took sessions for the same, but also encouraged them to learn English, later on, helped them to make career aware and guided in developing skills. Much motivated by this, after her graduation, she decided to do something for them. Having a good job, she left it at the same time and dived into the pool of this beautiful work
Tanya always wanted to do something outstanding. Therefore, she started an organization Starfiree where she organizes workshops for children of government schools and colleges. Starfiree helps students to explore their FORTI and have an improvised introspection, to know their talents, and ultimately develop the 21st-century skills. They want kids to understand their skills and to use them to build their future. The workshops aim at life skills sessions. The main aim of the team is to maintain equality amongst the masses and have equal opportunities for all the kids. They have started this beautiful campaign in Jaipur but aim to spread all over India. She has taken sessions with more than 1500 students till today, in such a short span of time, and wishes to work with these gems to reduce the problem of employability now.
Through her experience, Tanya has observed two problems: Approx 78% percent of children are unable to broaden up their horizon mentally for their career options until graduation level and approx 56% of students are unable to develop those 21st-century skills required for them to make them live ready, with her organization she wants to solve these two issues. The organization helps the kids find the passion within them through various activities, as they believe that if every child finds passion in them and pursue it, India can make an incredible change. This does not stop here they even organize webinars on mental health issues on very interesting topics like Dream Analysis, Abolish Fear, and much more to aware people of it and to inspire them to come forward and share their problems with someone. Tanya works with the motto “To become a star you must burn like fire first”. And is doing justice with the motto. Her students love her optimistic way to deal with things and the way she always stays calm with a constant smile on her face. The organization is currently working on an educational app for young adults to make their career persona decisions simplified. The founder of the team believes to embark on an incredible change in every children’s life and wishes to meet Mr. Ratan Tata to share her visions and ideas for India and society.
We need more people like Tanya who understand the need of the 21st century, do something for the coming generation, and for you because we all are stars, and deserve to twinkle.
