Harshit Aggarwal’s journey began when he was only 19 years old. Born and raised in Greater Noida, he completed his schooling at Ram-Eesh International School and pursued a BBA at Sharada University. The spark that led to the foundation of Novamax Industries came from his exposure to his father’s entrepreneurial endeavors. His father started OceanMould in 2017, producing bodies for desert coolers for the local unorganized market. Working alongside his father, Harshit developed a deep understanding of the manufacturing process and market needs, which ignited his entrepreneurial spirit. With a modest initial investment of Rs. 6 crores, he decided to launch Novamax Industries the following year.  

For Harshit, his father’s guidance and the unwavering support of his mother became pivotal in shaping his journey. “I am who I am today thanks to my father and my mother’s support,” Harshit proudly recalls.  

Identifying Market Gaps: The Birth of Novamax    
   
The creation of Novamax Industries wasn’t just an impromptu decision. Harshit had identified a significant gap in the market for affordable, high-quality cooling solutions. During his extensive research, he found that while there were many coolers available, the affordable ones often compromised on quality, and the branded ones came at a premium price. This imbalance in the market led Harshit to envision a solution—air coolers that offered both reliability and affordability.  

Thus, Novamax Industries was born. Initially operating from a modest 10,000 square foot rented space in Greater Noida, Novamax focused on creating innovative cooling solutions that not only improved air quality and comfort but also reduced energy consumption—addressing both consumer and environmental concerns.  

Overcoming Challenges: Building a Resilient Business    

Every startup faces its share of challenges, and Novamax is no exception. Scaling up production, managing increasing customer demands, and maintaining product quality were among the hurdles Harshit encountered along the way. However, his determination and strategic thinking helped Novamax overcome these obstacles.
