Bridging Science, Education, and Healthcare: The Unbreakable Spirit of Rinku Singh

From humble beginnings in rural Uttar Pradesh, Rinku Singh bridges science, education, and healthcare to create lasting social change.

In a quiet village of Uttar Pradesh, a young boy once watched his mother sacrifice everything so he could learn. Years later, that same boy is reshaping how science, education, and healthcare touch lives across India.

The Mother Who Became His Guiding Light

In a quiet village named Sultanpur Bheema in the Amroha district of Uttar Pradesh, a young boy once watched his mother walk barefoot under the blazing sun so he could attend school. She never had much, yet she gave everything she had. Her sacrifices, her faith, and her strength became the foundation of a story that would one day inspire many.

That boy grew up to become Rinku Singh—a microbiologist, an educator, and a healthcare entrepreneur who has devoted his life to building bridges between science, education, and compassion. His journey is not about wealth or privilege; it is about purpose, resilience, and the quiet courage to begin even when you have nothing.

Every story that endures begins with love. For Rinku, that love came from his mother. She believed education was the one gift that could change a person’s destiny. When money was scarce, she went hungry so he could eat. When the roads were long, she walked so he could save bus fare.

Her strength became his inspiration. Her selflessness became his compass.

In early 2025, life tested Rinku in the hardest way possible. His mother suffered a heart attack, and he rushed home immediately. She needed urgent treatment and an angioplasty. He used all his savings and borrowed from friends to ensure she recovered.

“That moment changed everything for me,” he recalls quietly. “Watching her fight for her life reminded me what real strength looks like. It reminded me that life’s purpose is not to earn more, but to serve more.”

That moment of pain turned into clarity. He decided to dedicate his life to creating something that would heal, empower, and educate others in need.

From a Village Dreamer to a Man of Science

Rinku’s story began in the simplicity of rural life. Surrounded by farmlands and open skies, he developed a deep curiosity for how things worked. He wanted to understand life at its smallest level. That curiosity led him to pursue a Master’s degree in Microbiology and later an MBA in Hospital and Healthcare Management.

His professional career began at Novus Path Labs, V Bros Hospital, and Biological E Limited, where he worked in quality management and laboratory operations. It was during these years that he noticed something troubling—students from small towns had the potential to excel in science but lacked access to modern laboratories and real-world experience.

“They were memorizing theories but never touching instruments,” he says. “It was painful to see brilliant minds being limited by circumstances.”

This realization planted the first seed of his life’s mission.

The Birth of NKB Foundation

Rinku decided to create something that could break this cycle of inequality. He founded the NKB Foundation in honor of his mother. The foundation focuses on child education, women’s empowerment, environmental conservation, and healthcare awareness.

There was no donor, no investor, and no corporate support. Rinku funded everything from his own salary.

“Every initiative came from what I earned. It was hard, but it made every success meaningful,” he says.

Through the NKB Foundation, he began reaching out to schools and local communities. The foundation provided books, lunch boxes, and educational materials to children who came from families that could barely afford them. Rinku and his team also planted more than 1,500 trees and organized awareness drives on health and the environment.

Each initiative started small but created a ripple effect. Parents, teachers, and volunteers began joining hands. What began as one man’s effort slowly grew into a community movement built on trust and compassion.

A Guiding Hand from Gurukul Kangri University

Beyond his mother’s foundational support, Rinku was also greatly encouraged and supported by his professor, Dr. Harish Chandra from Gurukul Kangri University—a well-recognized researcher who played a significant role in Rinku’s academic journey. Dr. Chandra helped him in writing research papers and articles, providing the academic mentorship essential for a man of science.

Dr. Chandra has been featured in Elsevier & Stanford University's Top 2% Scientists List (now available at TopSciNet ), an elite recognition that highlights his impactful research contributions and places him among the world’s most influential scientists.

Building the Bridge Between Knowledge and Opportunity

As the foundation grew, Rinku realized that true empowerment required more than just awareness—it needed practical learning opportunities. This thought gave birth to the Center for Scientific Research and Education (CSRE).

CSRE became a platform where students could receive hands-on training in laboratory techniques, research, and diagnostics—turning theory into practice.

A key part of this journey was the support of Dr. Manoj Kumar Mishra, who shared Rinku’s belief that quality education should not be a privilege. With his mentorship and access to modern lab facilities, CSRE became a lifeline for aspiring scientists from smaller cities.

Today, more than 200 students have received training and certification through CSRE. Many of them now work in research, diagnostics, and healthcare roles across India. For them, CSRE was not just an institution—it was a bridge to the future they once thought was unreachable.

The Step Into Healthcare Innovation

After years of work in education and research, Rinku decided to take his next leap of faith. In 2025, he founded Vijric Technologies LLP, a healthcare innovation company focused on affordable diagnostic devices and quality consulting.

Vijric Technologies works on three main fronts:

  • Hospital and diagnostic management solutions
  • NABL and NABH consulting
  • Development of low-cost medical devices

The idea is simple yet powerful: Good healthcare should not depend on where you are born or how much you earn.

Rinku’s company helps small hospitals and labs improve their systems while developing solutions that make diagnostics more accessible—science in service of humanity.

The Struggles That Shaped His Strength

Rinku’s journey has been filled with challenges that could have easily broken him.

  1. Financial struggle: Running a foundation and education center without funding meant constant uncertainty. Yet, he never gave up.
  2. Lack of infrastructure: Advanced lab equipment was expensive, so he collaborated with private labs, exchanging expertise for access.
  3. Finding the right people: Building Vijric Technologies required dedicated engineers and experts. Rinku found people who believed in his vision.

“Every obstacle became a lesson,” he says. “When you do not have resources, you learn to become resourceful.”

The Moment That Changed Everything

The biggest turning point came when Rinku decided to quit his job. It wasn’t easy—he was walking away from financial stability. But he knew he could no longer divide his focus.

“I realized that consulting might pay less, but it gives you time. And time is the most valuable investment you can make,” he says.

With this decision, he finally had the space to nurture NKB Foundation, CSRE, and Vijric Technologies together—a decision that defined everything that followed.

His Message to Future Founders

When asked what advice he has for young people, his words are simple and real:

“Stop waiting for perfect conditions. Start with what you have. Your intent and consistency are worth more than any funding.”

Rinku Singh’s story is not about fame or fortune—it is about faith and persistence. From the dusty roads of Sultanpur Bheema to the labs and classrooms he built, he has turned every challenge into an opportunity to serve.

He reminds us that the most powerful startups are not born in boardrooms but in hearts that refuse to give up.
