Alongside her full-time roles, she spent nearly six years freelancing, closely collaborating with businesses to shape their social media presence and marketing direction.
This dual exposure gave her something many professionals take years to develop: a clear understanding of both strategy and execution, and more importantly, what brands actually need to grow in a competitive space.
Identifying the Gap
The idea behind The Friday Project did not come from a single breakthrough moment. Instead, it was shaped gradually through observation and experience.
While working with various clients, Subhiksha noticed a recurring pattern. Many brands were consistently posting content, but without a clear strategy or strong positioning. Marketing often felt like a checklist rather than a thoughtful process. Content was being created, but without a deeper narrative or purpose.

The focus is on scaling existing capabilities, taking on larger and more complex projects, and building a stronger in-house team supported by structured systems.
