Anshu Tiwary’s Mission to Amplify Purpose-Driven Voices

Anshu TiwaryTyagi built Global Speakers Talk to amplify unheard voices. From zero resources to a global platform, GST now supports speakers worldwide through summits and storytelling. Her journey proves: when no one gives you a stage, you build your own.

A Microphone, A Mission, and a Movement

Anshu TiwaryTyagi didn’t set out to build a business, she set out to build a platform. One that would give the unheard a voice and the unseen a stage. Today, her venture, Global Speakers Talk (GST), is fast becoming a beacon for leaders, coaches, and visionaries across the globe. But this global movement was born from something far more personal: rejection, reinvention, and relentless purpose.

“If no one gives you an opportunity, create one.”

“I was judged for my English, my pronunciation, and constantly made to feel like I wasn’t good enough,” Anshu recalls. “Still, one thing inside me never gave up, the dream to be known globally, to uplift others, and to live a life of meaning.”

That dream now fuels an international network of changemakers speaking from the heart, not just the headlines.

The Spark That Started It All

Long before GST’s virtual summits and global community, there was a young woman standing on school stages, soaking in the applause. Public speaking felt like home. But when life took her to a new city for higher education, everything changed.

“Moving to a metro city, I found myself under constant criticism every single day for my pronunciation,” she shares. “During college, and even after gaining five years of experience in automation, I struggled to find a job.”

Eventually, she joined the corporate world and kept changing companies for survival, but her heart was somewhere else.

“I took up jobs just to get by, but I never felt aligned,” she says. “I was chasing a paycheck, not a purpose.”

Identifying the Gap: Access, Not Ability

Anshu’s journey helped her identify a glaring issue in the speaking industry: visibility.

“There wasn’t a lack of platforms, it was a lack of access,” she explains. “If you’re not famous, fluent, or influential, your story is often dismissed, no matter how powerful it is.” The real turning point came while watching Tony Robbins on a TED stage.

“I said to myself: One day, I will speak on that red carpet too.” But when rejections from TEDx, colleges, and speaker agencies piled up, she faced a realization that would become the bedrock of her entrepreneurial journey.

GST set out to change that. The platform was designed with radical inclusivity at its core. It welcomes speakers who may not have polished credentials but carry potent messages.

“This wasn’t just a service gap, it was a seismic shift in mindset,” Anshu says. “We believe your life story is your power. And your accent doesn’t define your credibility.”

What Global Speakers Talk Offers

GST isn’t your typical speaker agency or event organizer. It’s a movement disguised as a platform. The core offerings include:

  • Monthly Global LIVE Summits: Themed, curated virtual summits featuring voices from across continents, no hierarchy, no bias.

  • GST PowerTalk Mondays: A unique TEDx-style virtual talk series where speakers deliver 15-minute talks, sharing their personal stories on GST’s YouTube channel. It’s designed for those who dream of standing on a TEDx stage but haven’t yet reached that milestone. Many TEDx speakers have joined and said the experience feels just as empowering.

  • Speaker Branding & Visibility Support: Custom promo kits, content collaborations, and podcast features that help speakers build influence, not just presence.

  • YouTube & Podcast Series: Bite-sized interviews and panels sparking authentic global conversations.

  • Coming Soon – GST Academy: A personal branding and mentorship hub for speakers ready to elevate their mission.

  • Global Speakers Talk LIVE Community: An interactive space where people from around the world practice live speaking, receive guidance, and build confidence. Many members have trained here and gone on to monetize their coaching businesses successfully. GST has proudly supported and trained thousands of speakers to date.

Presently, speakers from 15+ countries participate in GST’s live virtual events and community trainings.

Building From Scratch: No Budget, No Team, Just Heart

Launching GST wasn’t easy. In fact, it was one of the toughest seasons of Anshu’s life.

“I had no team, no funds, and no connections. I was caring for a newborn while building an international speaker platform from scratch,” she recalls. “I did everything, from designing speaker posters to managing events.”

But even when things were hard, quitting wasn’t an option. She learned as she went, leaned on free tools, consumed every personal growth course she could find, and credits her husband’s unwavering support for helping her stay the course, both emotionally and financially.

In the middle of that journey, she achieved one of her lifelong dreams: becoming an author.

“I became a co-author of the book Rejection to Redirection, and that milestone gave me even more confidence to expand GST and collaborate with high-profile global speakers,” she shares.

“People questioned if I was ‘qualified enough’ to build something like this,” she admits. “But I reminded myself, this isn’t just about me. It’s for everyone who’s ever been told they’re not enough.”

“We’re not here to showcase perfection,” Anshu says. “We’re here to share purpose.”

The Milestone That Changed Everything

The breakthrough came during GST’s first truly international summit.

“We had speakers from multiple countries, real stories, raw emotion, and viewers tuning in from across the globe,” she remembers.

That event was a revelation. It validated the platform, galvanized the community, and shifted GST from being a startup to a movement.

“Speakers who once doubted us became our biggest champions,” she says. “And suddenly, the idea born from rejection became a platform of recognition.”

Bigger Dreams, Bolder Vision

The next chapter for GST is about scale, not just in numbers, but in depth and impact.

What’s next?

  • Global stages across continents

  • The launch of GST Academy for speaker mentorship

  • Partnerships with impact-led organizations

  • A dedicated GST App for speaker networking, training, and growth

  • A second book by Anshu, chronicling her journey from rejection to recognition

“In five years, I want GST to be the go-to space for emerging voices around the world,” Anshu says. “Whether you're a mother in India with a story, or a coach in Kenya with a message, you’ll know this is a place where you matter.”

Gratitude: The People Who Made It Possible

To my late father, Rajendra Tiwari, and my mother, who planted the seed of resilience and confidence in me since childhood.
To my husband, Ankur Tyagi, who taught me to face fear and do it anyway, and supported me financially.
To my mother-in-law, Anita Tyagi, for her unwavering support throughout my early motherhood.
To all my close friends and family members.
To the amazing GST community, Andreea, Maria, Lisa, Josephine, Sheila, Jomer De Leon, JB Herrera, Dinesh Desai, and every collaboration partner who believed in this vision.
And lastly, thank you to all those who did not support me and criticized me, because of them, I found my purpose.

“If I give credit only to myself for this moment, it would be unfair to those who believed in me and planted the seeds of resilience in my heart,” she says.

Lessons for Aspiring Entrepreneurs

Anshu’s journey is more than inspirational, it’s instructional. For anyone building something out of nothing, her story offers powerful reminders:

  • Rejection is a Redirection: Every “no” helped Anshu build her own “yes.”

  • Start With What You Have: No money, no team, no problem – she began with passion, persistence, and purpose.

  • Let Pain Power Your Purpose: The very struggles that held her back became the reason GST exists.

  • Build a Mission, Not Just a Brand: Audiences don’t just connect with products, they connect with meaning.

Final Word: A Platform Where Every Voice Matters

From the spark of a school speech to the flames of a global movement, Anshu TiwaryTyagi’s journey is a reminder that true impact doesn’t require perfection, just conviction.

“If there’s one message I want to leave readers with,” she says, “it’s this: You don’t have to wait for the world to validate your story. Start where you are. Speak up. And if no one gives you a stage, build your own.”
