Founded in 2015, Coffee King was born out of a clear market gap: a lack of affordable cafés offering a high-quality experience. While premium coffee spots catered to a niche clientele and low-cost alternatives often sacrificed ambiance or taste, Mitesh envisioned a third option—a community-centric café with great vibes and even better value.
“We built Coffee King to fill that space—great coffee, welcoming ambiance, and value for money,” he explains. And it’s working. Today, the brand operates three cozy lounges and a kiosk in Surat, offering not just coffee, but an experience that keeps customers coming back.

At Coffee King, the menu is as thoughtfully curated as the atmosphere. Specialty coffees, rich shakes, indulgent desserts, and a creative fusion of dishes like sizzlers, pasta, and pizza are all part of the spread. But what truly sets the brand apart is its focus on balance—between taste and affordability, innovation and consistency, individual customers and broader community engagement.
“First and foremost, we offer a good place,” Mitesh says. “It’s a space to meet, unwind, and feel welcome. That’s the heart of what we do.”
The brand’s central kitchen, managed under CK F&B Pvt. Ltd., ensures consistent quality across all outlets. It even supports other cafés by preparing their recipes daily—an initiative that earned Coffee King government recognition as a startup.

A Turning Point Fueled by Trust
As with any startup, the early days were anything but easy. “Gaining trust was the biggest challenge—and it takes time and patience,” Mitesh admits. He overcame it through a steadfast commitment to quality and responsiveness. Listening to customer feedback and continuously improving service helped build not just footfall, but loyalty.
The turning point came when repeat customers started bringing friends—and then, business inquiries followed. “When people started showing interest in franchising, we realized Coffee King had real potential as a brand,” he shares.
That realization led to a more ambitious roadmap: scaling from a beloved local brand to a nationwide name.
A Scalable, Sustainable Growth Plan
Looking ahead, Mitesh has a clear goal—100 outlets in 5 years. But he’s not just chasing numbers. “Our goal is to build a long-term, sustainable brand with outlets that deliver real value to customers and solid returns to investors.” This growth will be fueled by franchising, strategic partnerships, and a deep commitment to operational excellence. Mitesh’s extensive hands-on experience—having worked across every level of café operations—gives him a unique edge in understanding what makes a food venture successful on the ground.
His leadership doesn’t end with Coffee King. Mitesh also co-founded Ashchems.in, a chemical export company, and contributes to FineThread, a fabric manufacturing firm. And in the F&B space, he serves as Co-head of the National Restaurant Association of India’s Surat Chapter, offering mentorship and driving community dialogue.

True to its community-first approach, Coffee King has also opened its doors as a venue for workshops and events. Whether it's a yoga session, an art class, or a startup seminar, the café offers a cozy yet professional atmosphere, equipped with high-speed internet, AV facilities, and flexible seating.
“It’s about more than food or drinks—it’s about creating a place where ideas can grow and people can connect,” says Mitesh.

Having walked the path from employee to entrepreneur, Mitesh has a grounded perspective for others just starting out: “Be patient. Stay consistent. Deliver value. And always listen—whether it’s your team or your customers, feedback is fuel for growth.”
