S huja Hasan Khan, founder of Mahsheen, Brand Raps, and GG Animations, turned rejections into success through creativity and persistence. From overcoming personal hurdles to leading innovative agencies, his story is a testament to passion, resilience, and the drive to create impactful brand content.

“We write, direct, and produce fun ads for brands. The process is simple—we find amazing people online, bring them into the fold, and create epic stuff,” Shuja Hasan Khan says with a smile.

The Challenges Along the Way

Like any entrepreneur, Shuja faced his share of hurdles, but the most personal challenge he encountered was convincing his mother that he didn’t want to pursue an MBA. “Convincing my mom that I didn’t want to do an MBA was probably the hardest challenge,” he admits. “I haven’t overcome it yet. Maybe I never will, but it’s part of the journey.”

In addition to the emotional and mental struggles, the creative journey was filled with rejections, long hours, and failed attempts. But it was through those struggles that Shuja found his breakthrough moment. “After six years of doing the same thing, facing rejection after rejection, one day I woke up and realized, ‘Oh shit! I’m so lucky.’ That was my turning point,” he shares.

The Secret Sauce: Hunger and Creativity

When it comes to what sets his agencies apart, Shuja’s answer is simple. “There’s no secret sauce, no fancy USP. We’re just a bunch of hungry artists creating dope stuff. That’s something big corporations can’t always relate to—our passion, our raw creativity, and the drive to make something epic.”

The three agencies—Mahsheen, Brand Raps, and GG Animations—run in parallel, each with its own creative head. Despite their differences, all share a common thread: a deep commitment to staying grounded, focused, and creating exceptional work that stands out.

Looking Ahead: A Future of Creation

What’s next for Shuja and his agencies? The future is uncertain, but one thing is clear: Shuja wants to continue doing what he loves—creating. “Five, ten, fifteen years from now, I don’t know. But I just hope we stay sincere to our work, stay grounded, and keep creating epic stuff. Numbers are just numbers,” he says with determination.
