GoKwik Secures $13 Million to Propel AI-First Ecommerce and Global Ambitions

GoKwik, an AI-first e-commerce enabler, has secured $13 million in growth funding led by RTP Global, bringing total funding to $68 million. The capital will fuel international expansion and AI R&D for its commerce stack, which helps over 10,000 brands tackle cart abandonment and RTO. GoKwik's solutions aim to optimize the entire e-commerce journey for brands globally.

GoKwik, a leading Indian e-commerce enablement platform, today announced it has successfully raised $13 million in a growth funding round, bringing its total funding to a substantial $68 million. The round was led by existing investor RTP Global, with continued participation from Z47, Peak XV Partners, and Think Investments, underscoring strong investor confidence in GoKwik's AI-first approach to solving critical e-commerce challenges.

This fresh capital infusion is earmarked for a dual strategic thrust: accelerating GoKwik's international expansion and fast-tracking research and development across its AI-first commerce stack. The company aims to further solidify its position as a unified growth operating system for brands worldwide, addressing persistent pain points like cart abandonment, high return-to-origin (RTO) rates, and customer retention.

Founded in 2020 by Chirag Taneja, Vivek Bajpai, and Ankush Talwar, GoKwik has rapidly grown its network to encompass over 10,000 brands, serving more than 130 million shoppers. Its impressive roster of clients includes prominent names like Mamaearth, Lenskart, Neemans, and Shoppers Stop, spanning diverse categories such as fashion, beauty, health and nutrition, and electronics. The company claims to have enabled brands to process gross merchandise value (GMV) exceeding $2 billion, demonstrating a robust 100% year-on-year growth.

GoKwik's product suite is designed to optimize every stage of the e-commerce journey. Key offerings include KwikCheckout, a one-click checkout solution with RTO protection; KwikEngage, a WhatsApp commerce platform; KwikPass for seamless login experiences; and Return Prime, a returns management app (acquired by GoKwik last year). These tools collectively aim to reduce friction pre-purchase, increase conversions, encourage repeat purchases, and streamline post-purchase processes.

GoKwik's consistent funding trajectory since its Series A in 2021 and Series B in 2022, culminating in this latest growth round, exemplifies sustained confidence in solutions that deliver measurable impact. By improving conversion rates by up to 50% and reducing RTO rates by 40% for its merchants, GoKwik has clearly demonstrated a strong return on investment for its clients, making it an attractive proposition for investors.
