Ratan Tata travels to Pune to meet an ailing former employee, wins praise from Netizens
Mumbai-based industrialist Ratan Tata traveled to Pune to meet an ailing former employee. A resident of the Friends Society, Pune, Yogesh Desai shared a picture of the 83 years old business tycoon on LinkedIn, which was widely circulated on various social media channels.
Addressing Tata as a living legend, Desai wrote in his post that the businessman came to see his former employee who was unwell for the past 2 years. “No media, no bouncers, only commitment towards loyal employees,” he wrote as the caption of the picture in which Tata was interacting with two people.
However, Desai clarified that it wasn’t him whom Tata came to see, neither did he meet him.
The post went viral immediately on social media. Netizens showered praises to the industrialist for this warm gesture towards the former employee.
