Edtech Startup Teachmint has raised $20 million in funds from Learn Capital

Teachmint, a live teaching platform, has raised $20 million in a Pre-Series B round led by Learn Capital with participation from CM Ventures.

In just two months, the company has raised $16.5 million in Series A funding from Learn Capital, CM Ventures, Lightspeed and Better Capital in May. Post the latest funding round the valuation of the company has tripled in just two months. 

The fresh funds will be utilized to develop the tech stack of the live video teaching and assist Teachmint’s expansion into newer markets,  diversify its existing markets, and hiring new talent for its growth.

Teachmint has also been ranked as the #1 top free education app on Google Play Store, this is an indication displaying the platform’s popularity and widespread adoption by the educators across the company.
