Praveen, a civil engineer chose his passion and today he is the founder of 'Cake Me Away Retail'

Initial Life story
Praveen was born on the 14th of May, 1993.
He graduated from B. Tech.
After he completed his post-graduation, he decided to drop out from the placement process and joined his family business which is into the electrical field.
Praveen is a civil engineer.
He says, " After continuing the family business for 2 and a half years, the covid 19's breakout changed my life. This was the moment when business was not doing very well and I started thinking of doing something on my own."
After this, Praveen knew he had to do something and he did. Soon, he launched his own startup, 'Cake Me Away Retail'.

The beginning
Praveen says, "My sister has been running a bakery page on Instagram for the past three years and its name is 'Cake Me Away'. It was through her that I started this business. Initially I thought to run the business through her Instagram Page. She has been doing this for the past three years and she already had a connection with people who would constantly ask for the raw materials. But, after the lockdown when people were forced to be inside their houses, we decided to start selling the raw materials for baking. To our surprise, once we made the post visible, the response was excellent. Later, I decided to make another page for the raw materials because I didn't want to interrupt my sister's bakery page."
After this, Praveen launched his own Instagram page on September 1st. Praveen shares that through Instagram he was able to boost his business to the next level.
The motivation
On asking Praveen, what keeps him motivated he says, "The one thing I believe in is enjoying your moment, be happy in whatever you do and enjoy it. You shouldn't be upset with yourself. I am a civil engineer and my startup has no connection with my degree. I often go through situations where people ask me about it. So, you would never know what life has planned for you. Keep trying, keep observing. And, when you think the moment is right, execute it."
