When civil engineer Sharad Chaurasia and certified interior designer Prachi Chaurasia decided to start a company together, they weren’t just launching another construction firm—they were responding to a systemic problem in the homebuilding industry. “I had already worked with top firms like JP and VECV,” says Sharad, who also teaches as a professor of civil engineering. “Prachi brought her design sensibility and experience across various industries to the table. After both of us had separately tried and failed at two startups, we knew it was time to build something together—something we believed in.”
And build they did.
For many founders, the “aha moment” is subtle. For Sharad and Prachi, it was the slow burn of frustration watching clients navigate a fragmented, unreliable construction market.
“One of the biggest challenges,” Sharad explains, “was that no single provider offered end-to-end construction and interior design services. Clients had to coordinate between soil testers, masons, carpenters, designers—it was chaos.”
They saw a gap and filled it with a vision: a holistic service offering construction, interiors, renovations, décor, and project execution under one roof—backed by quality, creativity, and trust.

While Creative Homes Construction has firmly rooted itself in Indore, the co-founders are already looking toward a national footprint.
“Our next big goal is to build a collaborative ecosystem,” Sharad says, “connecting designers, dealers, and suppliers to create a unified platform for construction and interior needs.”
The aim is to not only scale services across cities but to streamline an entire industry—bringing more professionalism, transparency, and innovation to how India builds homes and offices.
