This is Tiger Global’s first investment in a startup that is still at the pre-product stage, the platform claimed.

Shopflo, a software as a service (SaaS) provider, on Wednesday raised $2.6 million in seed funding led by Tiger Global and TQ Ventures. The round also saw participation from Better Capital and a pool of other angel investors.

Established in 2021 by Priy Ranjan, Ankit Bansal and Ishan Rakshit, Shopflo offers a SaaS stage for a smooth checkout experience for direct-to-shopper (D2C) brands  by eliminating the process of entering personal information every time a customer visits a partner website. It also allows the shoppers to complete their pen recovery and complete purchases on WhatsApp. It also allows the shoppers to complete their pen recovery and complete purchases on WhatsApp.

"A consistent checkout experience has turned into a benchmark assumption by shoppers. Be that as it may, checkout for web based business traders hasn't changed much recently. Shopflo will change this," said John Curtius, accomplice at Tiger Global.

"Shopflo is strategically situated to be the default checkout for the quickly developing Indian direct-to-purchaser (D2C) market. We are eager to be their most memorable supporters along this excursion," he added.

"The vast majority of these D2C traders assemble their sites utilizing no-code devices which are perfect for more modest dealers. The following best stages are just appropriate for enormous endeavors with in-house tech groups. We at Shopflo are focusing on the shippers in the center. We are beginning as a checkout SaaS stage for D2C brands with an objective of making a magnificent and zero mental burden checkout experience," Ranjan said.

We imagine Shopflo to be the checkout layer in the worldwide headless business stack. We are special to have Tiger Global, TQ Ventures and Better Capital go along with us as we intend to bring the D2C checkout experience nearer to Swiggy and Amazon," he added.

As indicated by the startup's articulation, Shopflo's center is to engage D2C brands to give insight to their clients, empowering dealers to amplify long haul esteem from guests to their site. They are out of beta and live with select shippers.
