Pat Cummins KKR's player publicly donated $50,000 to assist India against Covid-19 Pandemic.

Pat Cummins, an Australian fast Bowler playing as KKR's player in IPL 2021 came up in this tough time to help India through a fundraising scheme run by the PM of India the last March when Covid-19 just broke out.

Cummin via his social media expressed his concern over the rising cases in India. He is the first cricketer to publicly announce such a contribution.

On Twitter he says, India is a country I've come to love dearly over the years and the people here are some of the warmest and kindest I have ever met. To know so many are suffering so much at this time saddens me greatly.

Cummins also encourages his fellow IPL players to contribute in this tough time. Recently ongoing discussion on is it appropriate to continue IPL when Covid-19 is spreading drastically.

Cummins adds in his statement, I'm advised that the Indian government is of the view that playing IPL when the population is in lockdown provides a few hours of joy and respite each day at an otherwise difficult time for the country.

His contribution and concern for India will surely urge others to come forward to help. We show our gratitude to Cummins Australian player.
