Rail lines Minister Piyush Goyal on Tuesday stated that Indian Railways won't ever be privatized however said private ventures ought to be energized for more proficient working.
Answering a conversation on Demands for Grants for Railways, Goyal said there has been no demise of any traveller because of a rail mishap in two years and the railroads has been putting the colossal spotlight on traveller wellbeing.
He said the nation can advance towards high development and set out greater business open doors just when people in general and private areas cooperate.
"Indian Railways won't ever be privatized. It is a property of each Indian and will remain so," the pastor said, adding that it will stay with the public authority of India.
Goyal said the Modi government has climbed interest in rail routes to ₹2.15 lakh crore in 2021-22 monetary, from ₹1.5 lakh crore in 2019-20 financial.
"We are zeroing in on traveller wellbeing. I'm glad to say that there has been no traveller passing in recent years. The last passing because of a train mishap occurred in March 2019," the pastor said.
