A B2B software-as-service(SaaS) collaborating customer onboarding platform has raised $3million in the seed funding round co-led by Matrix Partners India and Nexus Venture Partners, following the ongoing trend of venture capital investors looking forward to Indian SaaS firms.

Noteworthy businessman and angel investors like Shreesha Ramdas, CEO of Strikedeck;  Krish Subramanian; Jonathan Swanson, co-founder of Thumbtack and Rajaraman Santhanam, co-founders of Chargebee; and Pradeep Rathinam, CCO of Freshworks; Yamini Bhat, CEO of Vymo has also actively participated in the seed funding round.

The company plans to utilize the raised money for the expansion and hiring of potential talent that will benefit the company in the long run, a senior company executive mentioned. Profiles of demand generation, sales, customer success, and engineering are among the few areas that the company is currently striking on.

Born amidst Pandemic in 2020 by the triplets entrepreneurs-   Srikrishnan Ganesan, Vignesh Girishankar, and Deepak Bala, Rocketlane provides services such as a purpose-built unified workspace for collaboration between projects and its targeted customers. The budding startup is presently a team of 25 dedicated souls working remotely. The founders had in-depth experience and a good network as the trio dedicated their skills and time working with companies like Freshchat and later acquired their chat business Konotor.

The platform helps businesses shorten and direct energy towards value than time consumption, streamline their software implementation journeys, and facilitates real-time visibility while enriching the customer's experience.  

“We have launched our product today, but we have already built a strong pipeline of clientele over the last few months,” said Srikrishnan Ganesan, CEO, Rocketlane. 

“Onboarding is becoming the new bottleneck for the fast-growing enterprise SaaS ventures, and top VCs are watching the gap between the Live ARR and Contracted ARR among their portfolio companies”, he added.

The pandemic has brought a revolution in the Tech industries, enterprises are adapting technology fastly, the worth of customer onboarding and implementing tech sack has come into the limelight, hence getting major significance.
