Greycroft leads Series A Funding in Startup Leena AI to Accelerate Hiring & Product Development

Leena AI, an artificial intelligence-based employee experience platform founded in 2015 by Adit Jain, Mayank Goyal and Anand Prajapati announced on November 3, that it has raised an $8 million funding in a Series A round led by Greycroft. The funding would be used for expanding its go-to-market programs, hiring talent, and accelerating product development.

Adit Jain said, “Legacy internal helpdesks are simply not meeting the needs of the world’s top enterprises. They are not user friendly, are tough to deploy & lack intelligence. Leena AI Service Delivery suite changes that - bringing the consumer experience to enterprise employees.”

In 2018 the company was working on building a chatbot- an intelligent virtual for addressing Human Resources-related issues. However, recently, the company has moved its focus on extensive HR service delivery. This funding would allow Leena AI to continue its growth and momentum. In the same year, the company also lifted $2million in the seed-funding round from a host of Silicon Valley investors and was a part of the summer batch 2018 of Y Combinator.

This company, with the help of AI, has created an ascendable AI platform that addresses employee requests becoming a single access point for all of its critical HR needs, stated Terbeek. Over the past nine months, Leena AI has stuffed up their team from 30 people to 75 now and brought on more than 100 enterprise customers, including clients like Lafarge Holcim, Abbott, Coca-Cola, AirAsia, Vodafone, Sony Pictures, etc.
