It is very well established in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Isreal, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Also, in 2016, HCL Technologies began its operations in Sri Lanka and intends to produce 1500 jobs there by the end of the first 18 months of commencement of the operation.
